So how does a business become part of one of these commercials?

Well, we love shining a spotlight on the people and businesses we work with every day through our “Voice of the Customer” testimonials. So, if you’re interested in sharing your story, here’s a quick look at how the process works from start to finish.

Step 1: Get in Touch

If you’re interested in participating, the first step is simple – reach out. You can contact your FFB Bank officer or email our Marketing team directly at marketing@ffb.bank to let us know you’d like to be considered.

Step 2: Plan the Filming Day

After we hear from you, our Marketing team and our filming partners at Backstory Creative will connect with you to plan the details. We’ll work together to choose a date, time, and location that works best for your schedule.

Most filming sessions take about two to three hours, which allows time for setup, capturing footage of your business, filming the interview, and wrapping everything up.

Step 3: Share Your Story

The heart of every testimonial is your story. During filming, we’ll ask a few simple questions about you, your business, and your experience working with the Bank.

Some of the questions we typically ask include:

  • Who are you, and what do you do?
  • What does your business do?
  • How did your business get started?
  • What does it take to run a successful business?
  • How important is it to work with partners you trust?
  • When did you begin working with FFB Bank?
  • What stood out to you about working with the Bank early on?
  • Do your business values align with FFB Bank’s values?

Don’t worry, there’s no script to memorize so that the conversation can feel as natural and relaxed as possible. And, keep in mind, Backstory Creative may ask additional follow-up questions along the way to help bring your story to life.

Step 4: Enjoy the Experience

When filming day arrives, try to relax and enjoy the experience. It’s completely normal to redo answers or take a moment to gather your thoughts.

Our goal is to highlight your business, your personality, and your story in the most authentic way possible. If you have ideas or something you’d like to include, don’t hesitate to share them!

Step 5: See the Finished Product

After filming, the editing process usually takes three to four weeks. Once the final testimonial is ready, our Marketing team will share it across the Bank’s social media channels and tag your business so your audience can join in.

You’ll also be able to find your testimonial on the FFB Bank website under Media and may even appear on TV!
